Carrier that tie on
Tie-on carriers are sometimes also referred to as Asian Style Carriers, due to their cultural origins. The most widely known type of ASC is a mei tai, a carrier with a body panel, tie-on waist straps and longer tie-on shoulder straps. There are many brands of mei tai and lots of variation in detail, such as body shape, waist rigidity and shoulder strap style.
